Caribbean Fair @ Yonge-Dundas Square

Sept 26th, 2007 – Yonge-Dundas Square

The launch of Caribbean Week officially happened at The Caribbean Fair @ Yonge Dundas Square on Wednesday, September 26 from 8 am to 8 pm. The MC’s for the day included Dr. Jay and Spex from FLOW935 FM and local celebrity King Cosmos. The entertainers included the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force Combo, the Roland Prince Quartet from Antigua and Barbuda, Jamesy P and Bomani from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Royal Bahamas Police Force ‘Pop’ Band and Pedrito Calvo and Hilario Duran from Cuba.

There where also celebrity chefs Jermiah Nathaniel from Antigua and Barbuda, Chef Ana Isabel Utrera from Cuba and Chef Christopher Walters from Turks and Caicos sampling some of their signature dishes to the crowd.
