First Annual Governments of the Caribbean Gala and Awards Presentation

The Liberty Grand was the perfect setting for the First Annual Governments of the Caribbean Gala and an opportunity to meet some of the most important government members and partners of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA). The hosts included the Secretary General of the CTO, Mr. Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace along with other esteemed Ministers and Directors of Tourism and Consuls General from the Caribbean and the Honourary Chairman of Caribbean Week, Mr. David Singh, Chairman & Founder of Destiny Group of Companies and Presenting Sponsor of Caribbean Week at the Governments of the Caribbean Gala.

There were great door prizes, a silent auction and raffles all in aid of the CTO Foundation. The Foundation provides scholarships and financial assistance to Caribbean nationals interested in pursuing studies in tourism and hospitality, and supports tourism employees wanting to improve their foreign language skills.
