A 25 year veteran of the tourism industry, Anne has proven to be an inspiring leader as the founder and CEO of Hibiscus International, a unique tourism programming company dedicated to creating innovative products, which promote sustainability in the Caribbean Region. Anne has been committed to promoting an understanding and celebration of Caribbean cultures and was honoured a UN sponsored award for her “Development of Peace Through Tourism”.
A long time educator and trainer, Anne’s clients include Thomas Cook, CAA, Ensemble, Education Systems, CITC, The Learning Library, IATA, Your Workshops, CTO and Georgian, Humber and Seneca Colleges. She was the founder of the first tourism industry accredited training program for tour operators in 1997 now known as THE Travel School, a division of Hibiscus International. As a journalist, Anne has written regular columns for Leisure Group Travel, The Travel Media Association of Canada and Baxter’s Canadian Travel Press as well as being a published author with a classic written in 1981 and still published today.
Anne was born and raised in Toronto but enjoyed living in St. Vincent & the Grenadines for ten years. She now resides with her husband in a resort community north of Toronto.
